These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DigitPay platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account or using any of our services, you agree to abide by these Terms, which are designed to ensure transparency, security, and trust in every transaction. Please read them carefully before proceeding, as they explain your rights, responsibilities, and the conditions under which we provide our services across Africa and beyond.
By registering for a DigitPay account, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use DigitPay services.
DigitPay is a cross-border payment platform that enables users to send, receive, and spend money instantly across Africa using cryptocurrency and local currencies. The platform operates through its mobile applications on iOS and Android.
To use DigitPay, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using the platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.
Users are required to create an account by providing valid personal details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. DigitPay will never request your password. Notify DigitPay immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
DigitPay complies with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Users may be required to verify their identity by submitting valid government-issued identification and other documents as requested. Failure to complete verification may limit your access to certain services.
DigitPay allows users to send, spend, and receive funds in multiple currencies across supported African countries. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and not for any fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited activities.
DigitPay is a multi-chain, multi-currency platform. Supported cryptocurrencies and local currencies may vary from time to time. DigitPay reserves the right to add or remove supported assets or networks at its discretion.
Transactions are typically processed instantly. However, processing time may vary due to network congestion, maintenance, or third-party service delays. DigitPay is not responsible for delays beyond its control.
DigitPay may charge transaction or conversion fees, which will be displayed before confirmation. By proceeding with a transaction, you agree to any applicable fees shown at that time.
DigitPay provides real-time conversion rates for supported currencies and cryptocurrencies. Once a transaction is confirmed, the rate used is final and cannot be reversed, even if market conditions change.
All completed transactions on DigitPay are final and irreversible once processed. Refunds are only possible in limited cases such as confirmed system errors. Users are advised to verify all payment details before confirming transactions.
You are solely responsible for all actions taken under your account. You must ensure that your use of DigitPay complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your country of residence.
Users are strictly prohibited from using DigitPay for activities related to money laundering, terrorism financing, scams, fraud, or any unlawful acts. Accounts engaged in such activities may be suspended or terminated without notice.
DigitPay values your privacy and takes reasonable measures to protect your data. By using the service, you consent to DigitPay’s collection, processing, and storage of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
All trademarks, logos, and content on DigitPay’s platform are the property of DigitPay. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without prior written permission.
DigitPay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of funds due to user error, network failure, or market volatility.
DigitPay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in suspicious activity, or use the platform in a manner deemed unsafe or unlawful.
DigitPay may modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the DigitPay website or app, and continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in accordance with Nigerian law.
